Just A couple Of Thoughts

I haven't had much jet lag here yet, which is weird because as Bruno and my father both know well, I've been quite prone to some (read a lot) of jet lag in the past.

When I was ten years old my dad decided he wanted his two young children to see Europe, and so he and Bruno and I set off on a European adventure of our own. We traveled to Holland, Denmark, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Italy. That's a lot of traveling for two kids, ages 10 and 8!

Oh but of course we had a wonderful time, all except that I had what you could call a SEVERE bout of jet lag for the entire month we were there. I was so incredibly tired all the time that I remember sleeping any chance I could get. I'd fall asleep on the trains and buses, in parks and plazas, on city benches, and even in the woods. I was exhausted! And my poor brother had the pleasure of waking me from my slumber every time. What fun...

I actually haven't spent a ton of time in Europe. Daniel's definitely been around here enough for the both of us and it's quite plain to see he feels much at home. I on the other hand think I'm going to need another couple of weeks at least...

For now I'm enjoying the wonderful food, the weekend laziness of this small German town we're living in, and the crisp winter weather, which I know won't get colder than 40 degrees so I can actually enjoy it!

Glad you made it safely Deb! Sounds like you guys are having a fabulous time. We envy your winter low of 40 degrees, as it was 41 degrees when I got on my bike this morning. Yikes!

Love, A and H
