Apartment Tour!

Many of you have asked repeatedly for pictures of our pad in Bonn. So here it is. Although a bit antiquated, it's actually quite comfortable and cozy. We really like it. And there's plenty of room, so if any of you are thinking about coming to visit, don't hesitate! Nuestra casa es tu casa!

And now:

This is the view into our apartment from the front door. This is our front hallway. Off the hallway to the left is the bathroom, to the right is our bedroom. Further down on the right is the living room, and on the left the kitchen. And straight ahead is the second bedroom/office!

Our bedroom. The picture came out a bit dark. See the comforter Dan bought at IKEA? It's so toasty warm, and actually quite pretty. Right in front of the bed we have a pretty big closet. Lots of storage space here.

Our lovely little kitchen.

Another view of the kitchen. We even have a dishwasher!

Our beautiful living room. We've got a huge window to let the sun in, when it decides to peak it's head through the clouds. This happens once a week or so. The rest of the time here, it rains!

Another view of our living room and our dining room table. We're having guests over for dinner tonight. We've even got fancy silver that we can pull out from that buffet chest to the right of the door. See the flowers? I bought these at the farmers market today. It's a block away from our apartment, and open Monday through Saturday!

Yet another view of the living room. And the precious TV, where we watch soccer and CNN. All other channels are in German, and we can't understand a thing! Well, the soccer is in German too, but you don't need to understand to understand the German to understand the soccer. GOAL!

And this is the view from our balcony, onto our little street. The sun is actually out today! Amazing.

Ok guys, hope you liked the tour. Make sure to leave us comments and we'll answer your questions, or requests!

XOXO, D. and D.

Dear Dandes:
Amazing! Good life in Bonn, greenery, everything looks calm and orderly and safe. Your pied-a terre is what my girlfriend has been dreaming for 30 years. I could go to market everyday, bike and walk, and watch the exciting news of Wall Street on the tube.
Seems like you're having a wunderbar tzeit, and I look for your blog and pictures everyday. Do you plan to meet the mathematician Pierre Bornsztein in Paris?
mit grosse respect,
Monsieur Lupin
