Biking Down The Rhein

Daniel and I just got back from a 4 hour bike ride down the Rhein. Everything is closed here on Sundays and so the parks and walking paths are always packed with all kinds of people, mostly families, taking a mid-day stroll. This is something we don't see a whole lot of in Minnesota. Daniel and I frequently walk around Lake of the Isles with the pups, but the people we see there are usually walking, biking, or running for exercise. Here it's more of a leisurely promenade and has nothing to do with working out or getting into shape. Young families with a baby in the stroller, older couples with their dogs, groups of children on their bikes, they're all out enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Now that we're home it's time for me to do some of my German homework. I've been putting it off all weekend, and now there's no more time left and nothing else to do but to giddy up and get 'er done. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
